I'm newbie here, and need to wash my clothes.

I've been to laundry room under the ICA, but it was locked with some ID card checker and password panel.
(And my electronic key given by the accommodation office didn't work there.)

Do I need to register somewhere to use the laundry room?
And, should I buy my own detergent (cleaning material)?
